Meet Dave Oliver and his son Justin. Action Pool and Spa was founded in 2000 by Dave. It all started when a friend, who owned a pool service company, suggested to Dave to help him out. Dave was in between jobs and was still figuring out what direction he wanted to go in career wise. He figured he would give it a shot since he owned a pool and hated servicing it. A few months later, his buddy sold him a route and next thing you know, Dave was off onto his next adventure. As Dave grew his business alone, he decided to add on some new help. Justin was currently playing college baseball and would help his dad in the summer. After Justin's senior year, Dave offered him a chance to buy into the business and become part owner. Safe to say Justin accepted the offer and the family business continues today. As the company grew, Dave and Justin were constantly asked for recommendations on gardeners, handymen, electricians, and other services that support homeowners in their everyday life. Justin and Dave hired Nathaniel and Isaiah, Justin oldest son, two handy reliable guys, that offered more than just pool service. Dave and Justin decided to rebrand to Action Pool and Home Solutions LLC where now they function as a one stop shop and offer multiple services to fit the needs of their clients. After 23 years, Dave and Justin continue to build their business and serve the greater San Jose community.
